Who We Are 

Throughout this notice, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the researchers at CHILD-REN, however the Data Controller for the projects are Manchester Metropolitan University, an exempt charity under Schedule 2 to the Charities Act 1993 (amended by the Charities Act 2011), unless another data controller is specified in relation to a specific research project.  

Manchester Metropolitan University is the Data Controller in respect of the personal data you provide as part of engaging in any of the research activity reported on the CHILD-REN website and the researchers at CHILD-REN for any data you share as you engage with the CHILD-REN website or dashboard.  

Manchester Metropolitan University is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We manage personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the University’s Data Protection Policy.
